VAPOR
CMFG
The Vapor was release in the mid 2000's and set the status quo for lightweight climbing helmets. Creating its predecessor was an effort that led Black Diamond to the extremes with materials, ergonomics and design. The vapor is unmatched. Its light weight and unobtrusive fit make it an excellent choice for alpine climbing, where reducing the load you carry is critical.

VELOCIS
CAD Development
Velocis has historically been Trek's elite road cycling helmet for 2 life cycles. Its focus on weight, aerodynamics and ventilation allows it to be not only a climbers best friend, but also a ripper on flat stages to gain precious seconds. Its an every day helmet, its a race day helmet, its a training helmet, its the one helmet a road cyclist would need.
Responsibilities
- Biomechanical Resesarch
- User / stakeholder interviews and research
- Full Industrial Design process
- Composite design
- Fitsystem Design
- collaborative design with MIPS on fitpad

LINK
UI/UX
Stages Link, is the pinnacle training too allowing access to the best coaching, course building, training analysis, and device management tools. And it’s backed by the industry’s most advanced analysis capabilities used in the professional peloton. The ability to maintain / create and update multiple head units + power meters make this a go to platform for teams like Ineos and Trek Segafredo. The precision and opportunity to manage 3rd party connections such at Training Peaks, Strava etc allow a user to fully control their online metrics for coaching and personal riding development. The Stages Link app is the only true connection from power meter- head unit - training tools.
Responsibilities
- User usability research
- Wireframe flows and journey maps
- Front end UI design
- Prep and export for front end engineering teams

HELLION
Launch content
When approached by Ride Concepts, they were behind in their traditional product creation process - the Hellion series was late to proto and sell in was weeks way. We were not only able to create visuals for the sales team that filled in the place of physical protos, but were able to assist in rebuilding and adjusting the product line for the entire line of shoes, resulting in a 45% greater sell in with major retailers for the coming launch and moving the price point of those products up to offer more value to the end user.
Responisibilities
- 3D cad creation
- Photorealistic renderings for marketing and sales groups

HYDRA
CMFG
CAD Development
Designed in collaboration with Black Diamond, the Hydra is a hydroformed, high-precision alpine tool built for technical ice and mixed routes. Our work focused on optimizing the ergonomic interface and modular architecture for demanding environments. The hydroformed aluminum shaft offers superior stiffness and swing efficiency, while the dual-density handle and adjustable grip rest support secure handling with gloves in steep, cold conditions. A modular head system accommodates hammers, adzes, and technical picks, allowing for full customization across varied terrain. Purpose-built for advanced alpine objectives, the Hydra blends lightweight durability with aggressive, intuitive performance.
Responsibilities
- Full Industrial Design process
- Biomechanical research and ergonomics studies
- CMFG
- CAD design for manufacturing (in parallel with engineering resource)

DASH
CMFG
CAD Development
When Stages released the first round off the Dash Computer, the industry noticed . The sheer effort that was put into the product made it the most customizable computer on the market. Their approached was the longest lasting, brightest full color display to touch a cycling based computer. With the effort on the engineering front - the user interface fell by the wayside. Through user reviews and customer feedback, we found that there was a huge opportunity to not only standardize some interactions but focus on a overall redesign of the product. With an emphasis on creating a slim package - and utilizing known technologies, we set out to create a new form language + overall new direction for Stages to push their computer offering.
Responsibilities
- Full Industrial Design process
- CMFG
- CAD design for manufacturing

NEVE
CMFG
Lightweight, fast, and built for technical alpine missions, the Neve Pro Crampon features a 10-point aluminum design that delivers secure traction on snow and glacier travel without the bulk. The wire toe bail and aluminum heel lever ensure a snug fit on mountaineering boots, while the minimalist construction keeps weight to a minimum for high-output days in the alpine. Ideal for ski mountaineers and fast-moving climbers.

WAVECEL
CMFG
Unlike a standard foam helmet, which is designed to protect against direct impacts, WaveCel accounts for how most cycling accidents actually happen—ungracefully, with twists, turns, and angled impacts.. WaveCel absorbs energy in multiple ways. On impact, the layers of the WaveCel material move independently and flex until the cell walls crumple and then glide, actively absorbing direct and rotational energy and redirecting it away from your head. This three-step change in material structure—flex, crumple, glide—is remarkably effective at dispersing the energy from an impact. Nearly 99 out of 100 times, WaveCel prevents concussions from common cycling accidents.
Responsibilities
- Developing internal system for production settings in conjunction with internal engineering resources
- Design of plastic parts, internal pad system and regulatory

RAVA
CMFG
Nuna is a leading European childcare company based out of the Netherlands that places an emphasis on high design as well as pushing the boundaries of engineering in the childcare industry. The goal of this project was to produce a Toddler Car seat from the bottom up. To create a product that would win an award come 2018. With the budget to push the boundaries we set out to incorporate new manufacturing process and materials. We wanted to show the larger companies that this small Dutch brand was a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Industrial Design process
- A surfacing of models / working with engineering resources to ensure surface contanuity
- CMFG

CIRCUIT
CMFG
CAD Development
The Circuit helmet is the do it all road / gravel helmet for Bontrager. It's development process heavily revolved around creating a usable helmet for both day and night time riding situations. The light mounts were designed and oriented to provide the perfect angle of light and to easily attach using magnets. The circuit's form language is a direct trickle down from the Velocis ( it's race oriented older sibling ) which was meant to be more approachable as a product and accept a wider variety of customers.
Responsibilities
- Industrial Design process
- Fit system design
